It was a pleasure doing business with Bernardo Kitchen and Bath Ltd. and I would definitely recommend them.

We’ve had several poor contractors who did not finish.  Ed, Richard and
Stan were great! I paid 1/3 down and owed nothing until we were satisfied.  Yes, sometimes we disagreed with their selection, but when we were specific they brought in more samples or moved spacing to totally satisfy us.

Added a full bathroom, refaced cabinets in large kitchen, half bath, laundry room and wet bar. Tore up ceramic floor tile in large foyer, half bath, kitchen and laundry room; took up hardwood floors in den; replaced all with hard wood floors.  Removed granite backsplash in kitchen and replaced with tumbled marble.  Replaced wet bar and ½ bath tile counters with granite.

We had a home for sale for 9 months with little interest.  We called Tom Allison (Operations Manager) at Bernardo’s.  When he came out we told him of the critism’s we were receiving.  He made the suggestions and we decided to go with it all.  Mark was our foreman, with whom we dealt directly.  We had his cell phone number and could reach him at all times with questions and concerns.  The full bathroom that was added was really impressive with a large ceramic tile shower with built in seat, and cherry cabinet doors that were made in their shop.  They are very unique and they did a fantastic job.  It was exciting to hear the comments of those who had previewed it before the renovation.  Although the home was above the $600,000 range the house sold within a month due to the updated look.

I was selling my mother’s home, which was a wreck.  Gene and his crew came in and did a fantastic job.  The kitchen looks like a brand new kitchen.  His crew was great, and follow up was exceptional.  If you are thinking of refacing your cabinets and getting new countertops, you have to call Gene!

Gene’s crew was out here when scheduled and even worked around my schedule so I could meet with them and inspect the job.  They were immaculate and hauled away all the garbage daily.  I would not hesitate to recommend Gene to anyone.
